Venus needs a good home.

This puppy looks a bit like a black Lab with the generously proportioned ears of a Bloodhound.

Shelter volunteers say her distinctive appearance is accompanied by a sweet character.

Apparently, Venus's previous human companion brought her to the shelter due to lack of time.

We can't really tell if Venus is likely to have a Bloodhound-like personality, but we'd advise her potential new family to be ready to provide plenty of exercise and training. With that kind of care, we predict Venus will be a gentle, loving companion.
