| Keep Up The Good Work |
 |
|
Once the dog run is built, the community expects you to care for it. Be sure to keep your dog owners' group active for occasional fundraising (you'll probably need between $3,000 and $5,000 a year for maintenance) and clean-ups, and to help maintain a cooperative community environment in the run. It's a good idea to have regular meetings with the Parks Departments and community officials to keep everyone involved. To ward off opposition to your dog run, it helps to keep in touch, and in good standing, with decision makers.
