Black-and-white photography.

Having worked as a photojournalist for the past 25 years, Berg brings a photojournalistic perspective to his portraits of dogs. He is especially interested in how dogs interact with the human world that surrounds them. His favorite format is "A Day in the Life of Your Dog," in which he follows his subjects everywhere, photographing them on their morning walk, playing in the dog run, and meeting canine friends on the street. Because he prefers the way black-and-white photos look when produced on film, Berg doesn't shoot with digital images. He develops his prints on silver-gelatin double weight archival paper.
